Who is invited to the conference?
The conference is open to all the congregation with the exception of Thursday evening, that is open only for men, pastors and leaders.
What is the conference about?
The conference focuses on two important subjects for the life of the church: pastoral ministry and church. Regarding the pastor, the conference will discuss responsibilities and function, life, priorities, authority, and rights of the pastor. Regarding the church: ministry, priorities, responsibilities, and service. It is our desire for every congregation to have a biblical understanding about pastors' and church members' responsibilities.
Is there a cost?
We are asking for $7.00 inscription donation per person. If you have any trouble to pay this amount, please be kind in letting us know. We do not want anybody to miss the conference due to lack of resources.

Can I bring my children?
Yes!, Nolan River Rd. Baptist Church will have a VBS for children ages 5-11 and provide nursery for children 0-4. Please register and indicate number of children. Limited space please RVSP.

Would there be English translation?

Alex Montoya, Doctor of Divinity
Pastor Montoya has been the senior pastor at FFBC since 1972 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Latin American History from Biola University in La Mirada, California, and Master in Divinity and Master in Theology degrees from Talbot Theological Seminary, also in La Mirada.
Pastor Montoya has served as Associate Professor of Pastoral Ministries at The Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, California and was previously Adjunct Professor of New Testament Languages at Talbot Theological Seminary.
In 1975, Pastor Montoya founded the Seminario Biblico Fundamental, which prepares Spanish-speaking men for the Gospel ministry. He is also author of Hispanic Ministry in North America (Zondervan, 1987) and Preaching with Passion (Kregel, 2000), and has shared his insights on church planting and evangelism to groups in the United States, Russia, Germany, Mexico and others.
Pastor Montoya and his wife Favy have adult, married children plus several grandchildren. On July 23, 2007, FFBC celebrated Pastor and Favy Montoya's 35th anniversary with the church. On May 11, 2008, in recognition of his long-time work as a pastor and professor, Pastor Montoya was awarded an honorary Doctorate in Divinity (D.D.) degree by the Masters Seminary. On May 10, 2009, Pastor Montoya preached at the inaugural services at FFBC's new Whittier church, and continues to preach and teach the Word of God to all who thirst for God's truth.
